Do I need to own Bitcoin?

Does my file get uploaded?

No. Hashed entirely in your browser. Only the 64-character hash is used. Your content never leaves your device.

Is this legally recognized?

In March 2025, a French court formally accepted blockchain timestamps as evidence of IP ownership. The EU AI Act creates additional regulatory drivers.

What's a Nostr identity?

An open protocol where your identity is a cryptographic key pair you own. No company can ban you or delete your account.

Can someone fake a timestamp?

No. It's embedded in Bitcoin's proof-of-work chain. Faking it would require more computational power than exists on Earth.
